Sometimes in the year you could see the Aurora Borealis (the Northern lights). One night we were driving on a long stretch through a very dark country road and we were listening to the radio, when I heard the song come on - Eric Burden and the Animals - "The House of the Rising Sun," it was the first time I heard that song and as the song built, before the lyrics came on there was a heavy organ part. Just as the organ started to wail, the lights appeared in the sky infront of us like a giant curtain on a stage. It was one of those spine-tingly kind of moments. And everytime I hear that song I remember that moment. "It's been the ruin of many a poor boy, and God, I know, I'm one."

We are a fully licensed
We are a fully licensed centre with very keen and experienced instructors. We run a large number of activites canoeing, kayaking, Gorge Walking, Coasteering, Hill walking, White Water Rafting, Snorkelling, Hamster Balling, Team 642-415 exam building, Expeditions and Qualifications for Personal and Instructor Training. All our staff have a keen interest in the outdoors, some having competed 117-202 examinternationally and others have regularly organised expeditions to countries that interest them, including the Alps, USA, Nepal, Africa, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand. Our staff are all continually partaking in professional development courses, also as part of their work they are sent on environmental training days so they can pass the knowledge on to you.
